Description
This sketch was inspired by the recent Power/Rangers short film that was created by James Van Der Beek and Adi Shankar.
The film itself is still over at youtube for anyone's viewing pleasure. Now,for me I was never really into the Rangers themselves and this is pretty much the only piece of fan art I ever did of them.
The pic where the original black ranger is depicted in such as bada$$ as they like to call it pose is inspired from a scene where this ranger takes on a warehouse full of armed thugs.
Also, the film itself, while it was done in a very first rate top notch way,I felt it was a little too adult even for the PR concept, some love the film, and some hate it. I personally found the film to be a very mixed experience, and the scene with the black ranger fighting gangsters was the only scene in there I actually liked.

Power Rangers. I loved that show as a kid. But my brother despised it and said it was a rip off of Voltron.
